Evans recently qualified for the National Business Aviation Association’s (“NBAA”) prestigious 11,000 Hour Pilot Safety Award, signifying over 11,000 hours of accident-free flight hours in command/control of a business aircraft. The firm recently qualified for the NBAA Corporate Business Flying Safety Award, signifying over eight years of business aircraft flying without an accident. Mr. Evans flew for NBAA members operating multi-engine corporate jets during a twenty-year corporate flying career, including the Kaiser companies, and Amoco Corporation, in aircraft ranging from the Citation and Lear 35 to the Gulfstream III, acquiring in excess of 9,500 turbo-jet flight hours. The firm currently operates multiple aircraft in support of its aviation law practice, including superbly restored, award-winning examples of the Aero Commander 500S (“Shrike”), a Piper Aerostar factory 700P, and an F33A Beechcraft Bonanza.
