Evans recently qualified for the National Business Aviation Association’s (“NBAA”) prestigious 12,000 Hour Pilot Safety Award, signifying over 12,000 hours of accident-free flight hours in command/control of a business aircraft. The firm also recently qualified for the NBAA Corporate Business Flying Safety Award, signifying over sixteen (16) years of business aircraft flying without an accident. Mr. Evans flew for NBAA members operating multi-engine corporate jets during a twenty year plus corporate flying career, including the Kaiser companies, and Amoco Corporation, in aircraft ranging from the Citation and Lear 35 to the Gulfstream III, acquiring over 9,500 turbo-jet flight hours. Mr. Evans soloed in 1972 and has since accumulated over 13,300 accident and incident free flight hours.
